The Mazama 5k and 10K trail run is one of MVSTA's most popular events! With three races lengths to chose from we have a run for every age and ability. Bring your family and friends and join us in the fields of beautiful Mazama Washington for a fun run followed by the "World Famous Mazama Pancake Breakfast."  Sun, laughter, good friends and great food!  It does not get any better than this!

The Course

There are three race courses:

The 1k course circles the nearby meadow. This is a great opportunity to introduce your kids to racing. Kids enjoy the camaraderie of running with the other kids, as the crowd cheers them on.  Each young runner is awarded a ribbon and their own race bib. This course is not timed.

The 5k course passes the historic Mazama barn and through the open meadows. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers.  This course is not timed.

The 10k course begins by heading south through open fields with beautiful views on the community trail system. The course gains some elevation as it meanders through forested areas near Goat Creek. The last mile rejoins the meadow trails for the finish back at the Mazama Community Center. The dirt trail is relatively smooth and flat, but rocks and other obstacles exist.  Awards are given to age groups from 19 and under to 70+ years old.  This course is timed for those who wish to race the clock!
