Saturday & Sunday January 21st & 22nd, 2012

The Methow Valley Pursuit remains one of MVSTA’s signature events of the winter season and is enjoyed by both racers and individual event participants alike. The Pursuit returns again this year not only as the unique two day event , but utilizing an exciting new venue for the Saturday classic ski portion and returning to the unique and beautiful skate ski venue of the community trail from Mazama to Winthrop on Sunday.  Pursuit class participants ski a classic race the first day, in which their finish times determine the start time for the skate race on the second day.  Individual event class racers may choose to participate in Saturday’s classic ski event or Sunday’s skate ski event or both.  Saturday’s event venue is located at the Winthrop Town Trailhead right next to the newly built pedestrian bridge.  Sunday’s event venue will start at the Mazama Corral Trailhead and finish back at the Winthrop Town Trailhead.
