During
the spring, summer and fall, many of the MVSTA cross country ski trails
become biking, hiking and horse trails. After the snow melts in the
high country, miles of other trails open up in the Methow Valley. There
is a lifetime of exploring to be done in the National Park, Forest
Service land, Dept. of Natural Resources, State Fish and Wildlife and
other public lands.
MVSTA trails are made possible thanks to over 160 private landowners who have allowed trails to pass through their property. As always, it is important to respect the trails. Close gates behind you, carry out your litter, and observe signs regarding dogs and private property. Most importantly, enjoy your time on the trails.
