Distances & Race Course Descriptions
We've changed the location of this race from the Methow Community Trail to the Rendezvous in order to take advantange of the great snow and course conditions!

The race will begin and finish at the Cub Creek Trailhead. The course will be groomed for freestyle adn classic competitors. Racers will climb Cub Creek, Cougar Bait, Cedar Creek Loop, Cow Creek and Cougar Mountain Loop and descend Cow Creek to Cub Creek. This race is being held on the same day as the Winter Olympic Women’s 30k mass start.  Compare your race time to the Olympic skiers.  Awards will be given at the Après Ski party to racers who beat the slowest Olympic race time!

Times to Know

• 8:00 a.m day of registration and racer check-in at Cub Creek trailhead
• 9:00 a.m. MASS START. Volunteers will hand finishers race times at the end of the course
• 4:00-6:00 p.m. Apres Ski and viewing of Olympics 30K Pursuit at the Winthrop Barn - bring your race time to compare against 30K Olympic athlete times. Awards given to the 30k racers who beat the slowest Olympic time. 4-4:30pm social hour, 4:30pm awards, 5pm rebroadcast of Olympic Nordic events with commentary by Leslie Hall and Laura McCabe.
• 6:00 p.m. Sean McCabe benefit dinner at the Winthrop Barn

Cost
$20.00, includes trail access, aid stations and awards for racers who beat the slowest Olympic 30k race time.  Racers are highly encouraged to ski with their own food and water.
