Distances & Race Course Descriptions

Whether you’re new to racing or a seasoned master, this 30K course on the Community Trail is a Methow Classic!  
Racers start in Mazama and ski to Winthrop on rolling terrain through forests, meadows and along the Methow River, on the Methow Community Trail.

Start Times

• 9:00 a.m. 4-person wave starts for seeded racers
• 9:15 a.m. mass start for Citizen racers

Cost

$20.00, includes transportation to the race start

Pre-registration required. On-line registration forthcoming.

Bib Pick-Up

Friday, February 26, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Methow Valley Sport Trails Assocation, 209 Castle Avenue in Winthrop

Seeding

Skiers that wish to be seeded for Saturday’s interval start based previous performance, please provide past or estimated finish times no later than 12 noon on Wednesday, February 24.

Après Race

Join us in the Winthrop Barn on Saturday afternoon to watch the Olympics 30K Pursuit with commentary by former Olympians Laura McCabe and Leslie Hall. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Awards starting at 4:00pm, followed by 30km rebroadcast.  All participants are invited to join the Methow Community for a benefit dinner, provided by local catorer Claudia Webber, to benefit Sean and Laura McCabes family.
