UPDATE: MVSTA regrets to announce that the Ski Rodeo race has been cancelled. While the recreational ski conditions in Mazama remain good, the snow pack is thin. Canceling the race will ensure great skiing for all skiers during the holiday week and prevent equipment damage that can occur in race conditions.

The recreational trails in the Rendezvous, at Sun Mountain and in Mazama are in good shape; we look forward to seeing everyone out enjoying the snow and sunshine! For the daily grooming report check MVSTA’s website at www.mvsta.com.

Sunday, December 27
New this year! The Ski Rodeo is a free timed race. In celebration of the upcoming winter Olympics, MVSTA invites you and your family to come out and try a 5 or 10K ski race. Bibs and race timing will be provided, participants need only a MVSTA day trail pass to compete. Results and awards will be provided following the races. Here is your opportunity to try an Olympic Nordic event in a family-friendly setting.

Traditionally skiers also choose to race in a funny hat. Wear your craziest costume and win a special prize.
